 Human Resources 

Our Human Resources Service includes:

  • Unlimited support throughout the year to Headteachers, Senior Leaders and Governors on all staffing and employment matters
  • Manage the recruitment process for schools (including writing job descriptions and adverts) to ensure a high standard and that safer recruitment process are followed.
  • Manage the Single Central Register for the school
  • Support on complex casework (e.g. disciplinary, capability, grievance, attendance management, TUPE and restructuring)
  • Advisory support and attendance at formal meetings, hearings, appeals and employment tribunals
  • Development and review of Trust Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Advice on pay and grading issues and undertake job evaluation exercises
  • Provide employment law updates
  • A dedicated helpdesk
  • Mediation services 
  • National trade union negotiations
  • Human Resource training across all areas
