Bowes Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, inspirational teacher who enjoys working as part of a dedicated team. Our large school is part of the Enfield Learning Trust (ELT), a partnership of successful primary schools in Enfield. Our ‘Outstanding’ school, as rated by Ofsted, ensures the best outcomes for all children. Bowes offers a genuine opportunity to make a difference to children’s lives through our highly skilled staff team and fantastic whole school community of supportive parents, trustees and governors.
We are innovative with our teaching approach and have embedded a ‘no marking’ feedback for learning policy, which enables teachers to give valuable feedback on progress whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance!
We also understand how important it is for teachers and children to have access to modern technology, which is why we are a resourced Apple school. Teachers are provided with a Macbook and all members of staff are provided with an iPad.
We provide quality training and development for staff and as we are part of the Enfield Learning Trust, we are able to offer significant opportunities for career progression and professional development. The wellbeing of our staff is an important priority therefore we provide opportunities to ensure that we value their hard work and dedication. We also offer dedicated planning and preparation time with additional time for Newly Qualified Teachers. Each member of staff also has access to Perkbox where they are able to receive hundreds of exclusive company perks.
Children are engaged with a creative curriculum to inspire, which encourages pupil voice. We have embedded values that ensure resilience and independence and children are encouraged to have growth mind set which builds valuable learning skills for life.
In line with recent legislation, applicants must have a command of spoken English that is sufficient to effectively carry out duties of the role.
