An exciting opportunity has arisen for a flexible, patient and confident Cover Supervisor to join our support staff team at Carterhatch Junior School. Carterhatch Junior School is a three-form entry school rated Good by Ofsted with happy, well-behaved and motivated children, eager to learn.  We recognise the importance of pupil voice and our core values are important to us.

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate with and effectively manage the behaviour of pupils both in a whole class setting or in small groups and be able to work cooperatively and flexibly within a team.

We have a large field, allotments, outdoor gym equipment and a large astro turf football pitch.  We have a sensory room, music room and learning mentor room.  Our specialist sports coach provides our children with high quality sports provision and excellent extra-curricular opportunities. We also have a specialist music teacher.

We are just within the M25 so there are good transport links into London and Hertfordshire.

Our school is part of the Enfield Learning Trust, providing excellent opportunities for our staff to work collaboratively and sharing good practice. We recognise that our schools all serve their own communities and are unique but we also insist that our schools follow trust ways of working which ensure that there are high expectations and equality of opportunity for all our pupils.

We provide quality training and development for staff and as part of the Enfield Learning Trust, we are able to offer significant opportunities for professional development.

The well-being of our staff is an important priority therefore we provide opportunities to ensure that we value their hard work and dedication. As part of our well-being package all staff are given access to a work place scheme which offers an unbeatable range of benefits, including discounts on high street chains such as Café Nero.
