Hours:                                               36 hours per week/39 weeks per year (term time + 5 INSET days)

Grange Park Primary School are looking for enthusiastic, inspirational graduates who enjoy working as part of a dedicated team and want to develop their skills in a school environment.  This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who want to gain experience in order to progress towards a teaching career. 

As a graduate teaching assistant, you will be supporting the class teacher working with the whole class or smaller groups to ensure that all children reach their full potential.  Depending on experience and expertise you may be required to cover lessons under the direction of the class teacher. 

Grange Park Primary School is rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted.  Our school is set in the heart of Winchmore Hill, has been recently refurbished and has extensive grounds, which includes a large playing field, four playgrounds, an allotment area and a fire pit. 

Our school is part of the Enfield Teaching School Alliance, which runs the school direct and post graduate teaching apprenticeship scheme which are routes into teaching. The successful candidate will need to be reliable, flexible, well organised and willing to take an active role in all aspects of school life.  You will need to work independently and as part of a team and have the skills to build positive relationships with children and colleagues. 

In line with recent legislation, applicants must have a command of spoken English that is sufficient to effectively carry out duties of the role.
