We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled candidate to support the teaching and learning of PE within the curriculum, as well as continue to develop and maintain the excellent variety of extra curricular sports provision. With an existing team of sports coaches, this is an amazing opportunity to lead them in providing quality provision throughout the entire school day. We are very proud of our sporting achievements and want to build on the skills and successes that we have achieved. We are resourced with modern sporting equipment and kits, as well as dedicated space for the teaching of PE including, four halls, numerous playgrounds, a caged sporting area and a school field.
We understand how important it is for staff and children to have access to modern technology, which is why we are a resourced Apple school. You will be provided with an Ipad, which will contribute to the assessment and development of sport throughout the community.
We also have our very own minibuses, which staff have the opportunity to be trained to drive, or to use them with an additional driver to provide opportunities for children to learn outside the classroom and allows us to easily travel to local competitions and events.
We work in partnership with other local schools as well as the local authority physical education team to ensure we are providing quality training and development for staff. You also have the opportunity to be part of the sports learning hub across the Enfield Learning Trust to contribute to the development of the sport provision across the Trust and to implement new and exciting initiatives and opportunities for our children.
Children are engaged with a creative curriculum, which encourages pupil voice. We have embedded values that ensure resilience and independence and we aim to build valuable learning skills for life.
