An exciting opportunity has arisen at Hazelbury for an outstanding Nursery Assistant. In this role you will be working with a team to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the children. You will work with groups or individual children to aid them in their learning, showing a good understanding of children’s needs. The ideal candidates must be flexible (as every day is different) adaptable and hard working. You will need to be a well organised person who can work independently and as part of a team and have the skills to build positive relationships with children and colleagues.

We understand how important it is for staff and children to have access to modern technology, which is why we are a resourced Apple school - all members of staff are provided with Ipads. Children are engaged with a creative curriculum that makes use of our performing arts studio, music zone and creative hub. Our own on-site sports coaches provide our children with quality sport provision and fantastic extra-curricular opportunities. With a farm, pond and orchard on site, we are able to provide the children with creative outdoor experiences. We also have our very own minibuses, which all staff have the opportunity to be trained to drive.

Our ethos encourages a learning journey that invites children to be great citizens of the future. Our pupil voice is strong and we have embedded values that ensure resilience and independence. Children are encouraged to have a growth mind-set and we have a focus on mindfulness for both children and staff across the school. We are part of the Enfield Learning Trust, a
